M&A Manager – Renewable Energy | Italy (Hybrid, Milan)

The Opportunity
As M&A Manager, you will be central to the company’s growth strategy in Italy, supporting the full lifecycle of buy-side transactions, strategic investments and greenfield project evaluations.
Working within a collaborative and international environment, you will help drive the acquisition of renewable energy assets, coordinate due diligence processes, build advanced financial models, and support investment decision-making at both local and global levels.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate due diligence, structuring and negotiation across multiple M&A opportunities
Manage internal stakeholders and external advisors throughout NBO and BO stages
Build and analyse detailed financial models and commercial assumptions
Prepare investment papers, valuations and strategic presentations
Support the assessment of greenfield project risks, feasibility and strategic options
Contribute to strategic analysis, portfolio studies and partnership evaluations
Collaborate with global teams to support business planning and investment approvals
Build strong working relationships across technical, financial and corporate functions
Skills & Experience
4–5+ years’ experience in M&A, corporate finance, investment analysis or valuation
Background in Big 4, investment banking or private equity is advantageous
Strong technical skills in valuation (FCFF, FCFE), modelling, finance and accounting
Experience in the renewable energy or infrastructure sector
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and teamwork skills
Able to operate autonomously with exceptional attention to detail
MSc/MBA in Finance or related discipline preferred

Key Responsibilities

International Business Development Manager (Start Up Food & Bereverage)

Responsibilities:
1. Implement partner strategies that support market development plans and drive incremental revenue for UPI, creating value for both acquirers and issuers. Focus on traditional payment tools as well as the market roll‑out of new product initiatives, including mobile payments, e‑commerce solutions, and remittance services;
2. Contribute to developing strategic business plans through the provision of appropriate account and market intelligence. Take responsibility for implementing specific action plans to support overall business strategy and objectives;
3. Improve the acceptance of UPI cards in local markets and ensure smooth operation of UPI card acceptance business by acquirers. Oversee UPI signage posting and visual merchandising to enhance brand visibility;
4. Partner with key internal functions (product, marketing, operations, risk management) to identify new business opportunities and product ideas that enable merchants to customize solutions to best support their strategy;
5. Support both acquiring and issuing businesses with broader value chain strategies to achieve their business goals and differentiate UPI from its competitors through innovative solutions and superior service delivery;
6. Handle day‑to‑day administrative tasks and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirement
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in related discipline;
2. Relevant experience in business development in the local market, preferably in cards and/or payment industry, with demonstrated success of driving profitable business growth;
3. Good analytical skills and negotiation skills;
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills;
5. Self‑driven and highly motivated;
6. English proficiency is necessary, Italian or Chinese proficiency is highly desirable.
