The role focuses on strategic Telecom and Service Provider accounts, with potential responsibility for Tier 1 or Tier 2/3 accounts with high growth potential. Depending on experience, the portfolio may include Tier 1 accounts or a mix of Tier 2/3 accounts with high growth potential.ResponsibilitiesLead direct sales engagements with assigned Telecom and Service Provider accountsDevelop and execute strategic account plans to expand Fortinet’s footprint across the service provider landscapeBuild and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers and influencersCollaborate cross-functionally to deliver compelling proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and Statements of WorkNegotiate business terms that foster long-term partnerships and mutual successGenerate and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities through to closureAccurately forecast business and consistently achieve quarterly sales quotasRepresent Fortinet with credibility and insight, addressing client challenges with a solutions-oriented approachWe Are Looking ForMinimum 8 years of experience in sales to major accounts, with at least 5 years focused on Telecom or Service Provider clientsProven success in selling network security solutions, with consistent quota achievement and career stabilityStrong understanding of Telecom architectures, terminology, and business dynamicsDemonstrated ability to close complex deals and navigate long sales cyclesExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholdersA proactive, self-motivated mindset with resilience and adaptability in fast-paced environmentsBased in Rome or surrounding areas, with flexibility to travel across Italy as neededWhy Join UsAt Fortinet, we embrace diversity and inclusivity.
