We are seeking a Maître for the upcoming season (spring/summer 2025) to join our restaurant team.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and thrives on challenges. They should possess exceptional taste and exemplary customer service skills.
The Maître oversees dining room operations, manages the front of house team, and ensures impeccable customer service at all times. They report to the Restaurant Manager.
Responsibilities

Anticipate guests’ needs and handle complaints, ensuring a personalized guest experience aligned with our service standards.
Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on staff development and manage daily operations according to our standards and procedures.
Maintain professional relationships with guests and colleagues.

Effective communication, emotional intelligence, and adaptability.
Teamwork: serve as a role model and proactively assist others.
Results-oriented: set clear goals and optimize resources to achieve them.
Global perspective: promote respect and inclusiveness regardless of background or level.
Ability to advise on pricing strategies and review them as instructed by the Restaurant Manager.

Other Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the luxury hotel industry.
Fluent in English and Italian; a third language is a plus.
Experience in an international fine dining restaurant preferred.
Professional knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines, both Italian and international.
HACCP certification.

Belmond and You

Seasonal employment contract under C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 3, Maître.
Start: April 2025; End: November 2025, with potential for ongoing seasons and career development.
Gross monthly salary approximately €2,350, with additional pays for 13th, 14th month, and TFR.
Performance-based welfare incentives and welcome bonus.
Accommodation in staff housing with breakfast included.
