The Maître manages the dining room operations, oversees the front of house team, and ensures impeccable service and customer relations at all times.The Maître reports to the Restaurant Manager.ResponsibilitiesAnticipate guests’ needs and handle complaints to provide a personalized guest experience.Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on staff development and manage daily operations according to standards.Maintain professional relationships with guests and colleagues.RequirementsExcellent communication, emotional intelligence, and adaptability.Strong teamwork and proactive assistance to colleagues.Ability to set goals, maximize resources, and drive results.Respectful and inclusive attitude towards all team members.Advising on pricing strategies and reviewing them regularly as per instructions.Other RequirementsAt least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the luxury hotel industry.Fluent in English and Italian; knowledge of a third language is a plus.Experience in international fine dining restaurants preferred.Knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines, both Italian and international.HACCP certification.Belmond and YouSeasonal labor contract based on C.C.N.L.
