Role overview
After closing a €500K round backed by leading institutional investors and high‑standing angels, we're building a team of top performers to start scaling.
We are looking for a highly driven and experienced M&A Director to join Perpethua as the first senior hire dedicated to scaling our M&A practice.
This is a pivotal role: you will work side‑by‑side with the Founding Team to lead the execution of multiple mandates, build and grow the team, and help shape the processes and solutions that will define Perpethua's M&A engine for years to come.
We are looking for a senior, hands‑on dealmaker who combines strategic leadership with strong execution skills, thrives in fast‑paced environments and wants to build something meaningful.
Key responsibilities
Lead and oversee the execution of multiple M&A mandates simultaneously, ensuring flawless delivery under tight timelines.
Guarantee quality and consistency across all execution processes.
Manage and coach a growing team of mid‑level and junior professionals (5+), fostering excellence and growth.
Collaborate closely with the Founders to define practical and entrepreneurial solutions for mandate origination and execution.
Shape and scale the M&A team, playing a key role in hiring and performance management.
Personally review and produce materials (IMs, pitch decks, Excel models, business plans) with speed and attention to detail.
Contribute to building internal processes and playbooks to make deal execution more efficient and scalable.
Candidate profile
8+ years of experience in Corporate Finance / M&A (e.g. investment banking, M&A boutique advisory, Big Four, Private Equity).
Proven track record of leading and organizing teams of at least 5 people in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments.
Strong origination and execution mindset: able to get things done, solve problems pragmatically and maintain high quality under pressure.
Excellent technical skills: financial modelling, valuation, preparation of IMs and presentations.
High level of integrity, drive and ownership – entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to build alongside the founders.
Fluent in English. Other languages are a plus but not mandatory.
