The Taranto footprint has served Vestas for 25 years and will continue to do so. The logistics department supports inbound, receiving, warehousing, internal delivery, planning, outbound delivery, stock counting, and optimal use of equipment related to these activities.ResponsibilitiesLead according to Vestas values and behaviors, sustaining Safety & Quality CultureConduct safety and quality walks daily or weeklyEnsure full end-to-end deliveries align with plans and customer needsOn-time ordering (OTO)Plan on-site daily, weekly, monthly, and annuallyFollow up on on-time delivery (OTD)Stock countingDevelop staffing plans in logistics to support production and deliveriesEnsure correct daily/weekly/annual planning and follow-upFollow up on semi-annual employee surveys and activities to further develop the organizationQualificationsRelevant university degree8+ years of industrial experienceExperience in logistics at a manager levelReputation for effective team leadershipFluent in English and ItalianCompetenciesPeople manager with strong open communication skillsProficient in MS Office; able to navigate and use it effectivelyKnowledge of SAPWhat we offerCompetitive salary plus bonusInternational environment to develop your professional careerOur commitment to a fair hiringAt Vestas, we evaluate all candidates solely based on professional experience, education, and relevant skills.
