The agency was established in 2012 and is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. The NCIA provides a wide range of services, including cyber security, command and control systems, satellite communications, and electronic warfare. Overall, the NCIA plays a critical role in ensuring the security and effectiveness of NATO's communication and information technology capabilities.Role and ResponsibilitiesWorks with Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) basic processes and operations. Maintains item and inventory management records.Helps minimize bottlenecks and delays and the resulting impact on operating costs.Uses real-time inventory software, with guidance, to move supplies where needed, when needed.Assists in resolving issues related to physical space management. Inventory Management - GCFPerforms the receiving, ticketing, checking in and distributing of inventory items for a specific location.Produces basic inventory management reports for senior staff to reconcile the inventory balances.Tracks inventory information for a specific product group or location.Works with basic tasks of inventory management for a specific location.Follows processes to take stock, release inventory or return into processing; resolves discrepancies. Logistics Management - GCFUses tools, with guidance, to forecast delivery times, determine costs and assess performance.Works with logistics in a domestic environment.Maintains records of all shipments and invoices using an established system.Assists in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity.Participates in integrating logistics processes and developing effective networks. Supply Chain Management - GCFRecognizes software systems or components used to manage supply chain.Participates in supply chain analysis and uses it to spot trends and improvement opportunities.Discusses considerations for integrating partner and supplier transactions.Summarizes supply chain considerations for different types of productsEssential Skills and ExperienceKnowledge of NATO Logistics Regulations;Practical experience in the use of PC based NATO resource management tools;Knoweldge of the Italian Law in terms of ROS And Disposal of items.Usage of Windows tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Usage of EBA and Cable solve tools.EducationVocational training at a higher level, in a relevant discipline, leading to a professional qualification or equivalent combination of appropriate national qualifications and experience in Supply or Logistics Management, Warehousing, or Chain Management;Working LocationNaples, ItalyWorking PolicyOn-SiteTravelSome travel to other NATO sites may be requiredSecurity ClearanceValid National or NATO Secret personal security clearanceWe never know what new opportunities might be just over the horizon.
