Job Title: Supply Chain AssistantWe are seeking a candidate with 2-4 years of experience in Supply, Logistics, Asset Management, or Supply Chain Management.Responsibilities:Work with Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) processes and operations.Maintain item and inventory management records.Help minimize bottlenecks and delays to reduce operating costs.Use real-time inventory software to move supplies as needed.Assist in resolving physical space management issues.Perform receiving, ticketing, checking in, and distributing inventory items.Produce inventory management reports for senior staff.Track inventory information for specific products or locations.Manage inventory tasks for designated locations.Follow processes for stocktaking, releasing, or returning inventory, and resolve discrepancies.Use tools to forecast delivery times, assess costs, and evaluate performance.Coordinate with logistics in a domestic environment.Maintain records of shipments and invoices.Assist in developing process flows to track lead times.Recognize software systems used for supply chain management.Participate in supply chain analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.Discuss integration considerations for partner and supplier transactions.Summarize supply chain considerations for different product types.Work within specific parts of the supply chain management process.Analyze and document warehouse management KPIs.Assist in implementing mechanization techniques in distribution centers.Collect and translate business requirements for warehouse management systems.Perform warehousing activities such as receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities regularly.
