As one of the fastest‑growing retail companies, our products are highly appreciated in European markets, and our logistics operations are key to delivering value to millions of customers.About The RoleAs a Logistics Service Manager, you will oversee the performance of our Logistics Service Provider (LSP) and ensure the implementation of Action’s operational standards and processes. Your goal is to optimize the efficiency of the distribution center (DC), ensure timely deliveries to stores, and maintain high‑quality logistics operations at the lowest possible cost.Key ResponsibilitiesContract & RelationshipEnsure LSP meets agreed performance KPIs and is compliant with Action's valuesDrive efficient warehousing and transportation operations in line with SLA agreementsSupport Action’s contractual obligations to enable LSP performanceManage effective collaboration between LSP and Action’s internal teamsMaintain strong communication structures with LSP/TSP and Action HQDC OperationsMonitor and report on DC budget and financial metricsApprove monthly invoicing and evaluate additional costs or investmentsEnsure timely communication with stores and HQ regarding supply chain needsOversee the maintenance and management of Action’s assets and equipmentManage local service partners (e.g., material handling equipment, waste management)ProjectLead process improvements and logistics procedures across DCsPrioritize and adjust planning during incidents, escalating when necessaryAllocate sufficient resources to execute projects efficientlyImplement new processes and changes in line with Action’s strategyPeopleLead a team of 8 direct employeesProvide clear instructions, planning, and leadership to achieve goalsDevelop team skills through feedback, coaching, and trainingEncourage innovation and learning through active participationHire and onboard team membersImplement succession planningRequirementsUniversity degree with at least 8 years of professional experience, including 3 years in a managerial roleExperience in retail and international environments is a plusFluent in English (business level)Willingness to travel, especially during onboarding phaseStrong Excel skillsOperational experience in logistics/distributionProblem‑solving mindset and pragmatic approach, ability to prioritize and work under time pressureWhat We OfferMarket based salary with annual STIJob in a fast‑growing company with huge appetite for expansionOpportunity to build your own team and company’s cultureFlexible working hours22 days of paid holidays per yearPrivate medical packageMeal vouchersSeniority LevelMid‑Senior levelEmployment TypeContractJob FunctionManagement and ManufacturingRetailLocationBucharest, Romania
