We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and creative Lighting Designer to join our in-house design team within the real estate development business and work on exciting high-end hospitality projects in the UK and worldwide.The lighting designer we are looking for should possess not only technical expertise but also a highly creative mindset, innovative solutions, refined aesthetic sense, and a strong capacity for teamwork and camaraderie, along with effective collaboration and communication skills for interacting with designers, clients, and external stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesInterpret the client brief and collaborate with interior designers and architects to create and develop creative lighting concepts that complement and enhance the design and user experienceProduce lighting sketches, detailed drawings, schedules, and 3d renders.Specify high-quality products and fixtures aligned with the project aesthetic and goalsAdjust designs based on client feedback while maintaining functionalityIndependently explore innovative materials and techniques that enhance future projectsCreate installation manuals and documentationSupervise /manage the lighting productionCreate experiences where physical space meets digital interactionQualificationsA degree in Lighting Design, product/industrial design/interior architecture/spatial design or equivalent (e.g. stage design)At least five years of professional experienceProven experience in lighting design within the high-end residential / hospitality projectsGood knowledge of material properties and solutionsAbility to think from small to big scale in spatial setupsFluency in 3D software (Rhino, Grasshopper Sketch-Up), Dialux, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite programs (Id, Ps, and Ai)Ability to produce sketch renders for internal reviews in rendering software (such as 3D Max, Twinmotion, Lumnion, Vray, etc.)Interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of meeting high industry standardsPortfolio sample of work (both professional and academic)Professional level of EnglishNice to haveFamiliar with UK / EU building regsHospitality design experienceRendering and Animation software skills (twinmotion, V-ray, Enscape, Unreal Engine)Ability to work remotelySalary and benefits are competitive and based on candidate experience.
