RINA is currently recruiting for a Legal Affairs Support Advisor - Maternity Leave Cover to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the RINA Group Legal Affairs & Board Liaison Division.MissionThe Legal Support Advisor will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support and guidance to the classification and consulting company. The role involves ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, managing legal risks, and supporting various business functions with legal expertise. This position is offered as a maternity leave replacement.Key AccountabilitiesInsurance Contracts: Maintain relationships with brokers and manage insurance requests for the Group Companies.Corporate Governance: Organize shareholders’ and board meetings and draft relevant minutes for the foreign subsidiaries of the Group.Provide legal assistance, with the support of external advisors where necessary, to the foreign subsidiaries of the Group.Contract Management: Review, draft, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and partners.Ensure that contractual terms are legally sound and protect the company’s interests.Legal Research: Conduct legal research on relevant topics, including regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.Analyze legal issues and provide recommendations to management as needed.EducationBachelor’s Degree in LawQualifications1–3 years of experience in a legal advisory role, preferably in a corporate environment.Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and insurance management.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.Fluency in English, written and spoken; knowledge of French or Spanish is considered a plus.CompetenciesADDRESS THE WAY - Have a big picture of different situations and reinterpret it in a perspective wayBUILD NETWORK - Forge trust relationships, across departments, and outside the organizationCLIENT INTIMACY - Embrace internal and external client needs, expectations, and requirements to ensure maximum satisfactionEARN TRUST - Take everyone's opinion into account and remain open to diversityMAKE EFFECTIVE DECISIONS - Structure activities according to priorities, actions, resources and constraintMANAGE EMOTIONS - Recognise one's and other's emotions and express and regulate one's reactionsPIONEER CHANGE - Actively embrace change and benefit from the new circumstancesPROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT - Promote commitment by keeping promises as a Role ModelTHINK FORWARD - Capitalise on experiences and translate them into action plans for the futureRINA is a multinational company providing a wide range of services in the energy, marine, certification, infrastructure & mobility, industry, research & development sectors.
