Lead Project Management Specialist – Project Planning
Join the Gas Technology Equipment Team at Baker Hughes. As a Lead Project Manager, you will drive project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction by managing project activities and resources.
Responsibilities
Create project plans, provide target dates, and prioritize tasks.
Evaluate risks and issues to shorten execution lead time.
Ensure accurate reporting and documentation for stakeholders.
Update project schedules, track progress, and propose mitigation plans.
Maintain schedule risks and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal functions and site teams.
Prepare high‑level presentations for management and customer reviews.
Track financial milestones, forecast projections, and gap analysis.
Confirm completion KPIs during closure until hand‑off to operations.
Plan site installation activities from opening to commissioning.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Strong project management skills; Agile experience is advantageous.
Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Organizational and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with SharePoint, PowerApps, Forms, Flow, Oracle ERP, Primavera P6.
Knowledge or experience in Lean Six Sigma.
Leadership skills; ability to influence others and lead small teams.
