They will ensure the correct execution of activities related to machinery and packages for the assigned projects, both during operating and bidding phases.Responsibilities include:Issuing technical documents such as specifications, material requisitions, and data sheets.Performing preliminary machinery and auxiliaries selection.Contributing to interdisciplinary documents like equipment lists, electrical load lists, and project design basis.Analyzing equipment suppliers’ offers and conducting technical bid evaluations.Following up on equipment supply development and documentation, resolving technical issues, and maintaining contacts with suppliers, other disciplines, and customers.Coordinating with other disciplines for activity and documentation development.Managing project time schedules.Participating in project meetings.The Lead Mechanical Rotating Engineer may coordinate other machinery and packages engineers across different company locations, review their work and documentation, and manage tasks independently.All work must comply with company and project standards, quality and code of conduct, contractual requirements, and project schedules.Staying updated on international standards, codes, technological advances, and market news relevant to machinery is essential.Essential requirements:Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Power, or LNG plants.Knowledge of common industrial machinery, equipment, and processes.Familiarity with standard machinery and equipment codes and standards.Proficiency in MS Office, document management tools, and AutoCAD.Fluency in Italian and English; Spanish is a plus.Curiosity, open-mindedness, self-management, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, teamwork, professionalism, and strong work ethic.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Equal Opportunity Statement: Techint Engineering & Construction is committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
