You will manage our Bid Managers in the Large Project Office for our European Hub, focused on bidding for large-scale AC projects such as offshore. This role is pivotal in driving our strategic initiatives and ensuring the successful acquisition of high-value contracts in the AC offshore sector. Our leading technology and strong market position enable us to achieve growth targets in the energy transition across current and growing market segments such as hydrogen, data centres and e-mobility.Location: Remote with some travel in EuropePlease note we are unable to provide visa support for this positionWhat You’ll Make An ImpactEffective Communication: Demonstrate excellent communication skills to convey ideas clearly, challenge constructively, and influence at all levels. Build strong networks and foster open dialogue.Collaboration and Team Building: Cultivate interdependent relationships and facilitate team dynamics across the region.Strategy Formulation: Develop tender strategies and execution plans with capture teams that align with customer expectations and needs, including commercial setup, internal setup, and value proposition.Tender Planning: Coordinate the preparation of the contract and bid documents, ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained throughout the process.Tender Team Management: Provide guidance and support to ensure efficient and on-schedule task completion. Facilitate collaboration with key stakeholders and oversee the quality and timeliness of deliverables.Resource Planning: Plan the resources required to execute business strategies, including hiring & staffing for opportunities.Risk and Opportunity Management: Identify and quantify technical and commercial risks and opportunities during the tender phase and execution. Develop mitigation actions and transfer learnings to new opportunities.Cost Management: Oversee target costs related to the tender strategy, ensuring competitiveness, and monitor cost-related aspects during the tender process.Negotiation: Support Bid managers and participate when required in technical and commercial negotiations, ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the tendering and sales process.Customer Focus: Ensure a positive customer experience by providing necessary support during negotiations and meetings with customers.Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to established processes and procedures and manage the documentation of deviations and clarifications.
