Overview
The opening 5-Star Hotel “L’Affetto sul Lago di Garda” belonging to the international group “Hirmer Hospitality” is located in Salò on a verdant hillside overlooking the Lake Garda.
The hotel houses 99 guest rooms and suites and provides 2 Restaurants, 2 Bars, a Meeting room, 1 indoor and 2 outdoor swimming pools, and an innovative Wellness Center & SPA of 2,000 square meters.
Role
Position: Kitchen Steward/Dishwasher. Reports to the Dishwasher Manager and assists the other kitchen employees.
Responsibilities

Primarily responsible for washing and maintaining clean all the flatware, equipment and tools and ensuring that all kitchen surfaces are clean in compliance with HACCP and hotel standards.
Duties include washing and detailing thoroughly equipment, dishes, all flatware, cutlery, crockery, kitchen vessels, refrigerating rooms and warehouses.
Sweeping and mopping floors, ensuring they are dry and clean at all times.
Cleaning the back area in inspection-ready conditions in accordance with HACCP and hotel standards.
Ensuring the whole kitchen is tidy, clean, well maintained and organized at all times.
Adhering to all sanitation guidelines.
Collaborating with Chefs, Commis and Apprentices; assisting them when necessary.
Collecting and removing trash from all areas of the kitchen, following hotel standards and recycling procedures.
Reporting any maintenance or hazard issues to the Head Steward.
Punctuality, attention to detail, customer centricity, and strong teamwork.

Requirements

Hotel School diploma with high grade
Minimum 1 year work experience preferably at a high-level Restaurant/Hotel in the same role
Italian/English confidence is mandatory. Other languages (e.g., German and Russian) are preferable
Customer centricity, high attention to detail, problem solving, punctuality, proactivity, flexibility and teamwork
Legal right to work in Italy
