At Kuehne+Nagel, our work is about more than we imagine.We are looking for a Key Account Manager for the Road Logistics function, based in Milan or Turin, responsible for managing customers in the North-West area.The Key Account Manager will work within the Road Logistics team, which provides Road shipping and forwarding solutions to meet customer performance goals.You will be the primary contact for customers in your assigned area, implementing business development strategies in line with the National Road Logistics Sales Manager, and monitoring service levels to ensure customer satisfaction.How you create impactIdentify new opportunities to expand business and solutions within your customer portfolio, maintaining a strong pipeline, high closing ratios, and collaborating with other business units for competitive pricing and service.Develop and execute key account strategies, defining value propositions and solutions, and managing customer relationships throughout the engagement cycle to foster partnerships based on understanding organizational needs and decision-making processes.Oversee the transition of new business into operations, monitor monthly performance, volume, profitability, pipeline, overdues, and take immediate corrective actions when deviations occur.What we would like you to bringMinimum five years of experience in Project Management with practical application.At least five years of experience in sales, portfolio management, and performance analysis.Operational knowledge of finance and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency with relevant systems/tools and advanced Excel skills.A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.Proficiency in English at an advanced level.What's in it for youJoin the logistics industry at a time of growth.
