Role
Key Account Manager Industrial Seals – South Italy
SKF Seals is an independent business unit in the SKF Group having a sales turnover of 5.7 BSEK and over 3500 employees. We support our global Automotive and Industrial customers from our offices across different regions and countries.
Responsibilities

Develop solid relationships and understanding with customers at senior management level and identify and create opportunities that deliver value to both SKF and the customer.
Create the necessary support and technical team to engage with your key accounts to establish a long term growth strategy.
Create and implement industry and customer strategy and deployment plans.
Support the growth of our Industrial and Machined Seal business as a core objective across your accounts by taking the lead role in the negotiation of customer contracts.
Improve our customer ratings with our OEM customers, enabling access to new opportunities.
Collaborate across both the wider Regional EMEA Seals teams and with the local Industrial Sales Italy teams to support strategic initiatives across common customers, build internal and external relationships, and continuously create and leverage new contacts at your accounts.
Effectively manage order book in close collaboration with Customer Experience Team and coordinate, drive and measure activity to deliver positive results.
Contribute to further enhance the positive team spirit and continued improvement of performance across the team.
Promote our Purpose and Values through the organization

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering or Business Management, with experience in Sales and Key Account Management, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
Technical knowledge of Industrial Seals Business / products would be advantageous, as well as documented experience in the F&B industry
Good understanding of general business information and market intelligence from multiple sources, and the ability to analyze and interpret this to identify growth opportunities.
Customer focused, with proficient commercial ability, as well as experience in selling technical products and closing large value/complex sales
The ability to effectively communicate throughout the organization, with effective presentation skills and the ability to interact with several stakeholders.
Experience working with remotely based sales and support teams.
Knowledge of main CRM tool to track data about activities and clients, and to create a robust pipeline of opportunities that drives sales growth
Ability to monitor business results from your account base and provide input to Management to assist in planning and forecasting
Willingness to travel intensively.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

This position is based in one of our SKF sites in the south of Italy (Cassino or Bari), on local contract. The position holder reports to the Sales Manager Industrial Seals Italy.
