With distribution in over 100 countries, Spin Master is best known for award-winning brands PAW Patrol, Bakugan, Kinetic Sand, Air Hogs, Hatchimals, Rubik’s Cube and GUND, and is the global toy licensee for other popular properties.What will you work on?The Key Account Manager is the lead point of contact for all matters specific to his / her customers. They are responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships, overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximise the profit.How will you create impact?Developing annual business plans that deliver upon company goals and meet customer needsDeliver product presentations, business proposals and ad plans to customers on timeUnderstand the customer timelines and proactively provide customers with all information and materials required to make decisions and manage business effectivelyWork with support team to develop forecasts that best reflect market realities; update forecasts as required, on a monthly basis as a minimumTimely and effective review of actual performance to ensure goals are achieved and adjust plans as necessaryManage customer specific budgets and update salesforceAnalysis of sell through data and market intelligence to maximise business opportunities while minimising riskCommunicate clearly and efficiently with customers; and provide fast solutions to challengesWork proactively and effectively with team members to deliver best possible customer serviceWork in a team environment, providing feedback and coaching to your account management teamQuickly gain a thorough understanding of all account business objectives and marketing plans by gaining multi-level and cross functional contacts within your account portfolioDevelop innovative sales and marketing led account plans that will maximise Spin Master Italia’s performance within each accountCo-ordinate trade marketing and marketing activity within your accounts to ensure delivery of planned volume, distribution and profit targetsMaximise account profitability through strategic business planning including delivery of volume, revenue and margin and creative promotional work and good use of data to provide category solutionsWork closely with accounts to gain joint agreement on objectives for sales growth whilst managing each account selections processNegotiate at senior level to ensure Spin Master Italia maximises the advantage of long term supply agreements and optimises all elements of the marketing mixAccurate forecasting and working closely with the planning team to ensure stock is delivered to accounts as requiredFlexibility regarding accounts managedActively work as part of a team to create a solution oriented culture, leading by exampleMaintain and further develop the strong commercial and personal relationships between Spin Master Italia and the account base and ensure Spin Master Italia remains a preferred supplierWhat are your skills and experience?Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related area3-5 years of experience in similar role, Toy industry background preferredDemonstrated success managing a business portfolio with a national retailer, toys retailer preferredRetail experience either at store level or retail planning experience is an assetCustomer driven approach and a “go-getter” attitudeAbility to build and maintain relationships, both externally and internallyProficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
