At KCA our engineering skills are often used ‘on demand’ and we are happy to adapt to each client’s specific requirements. KCA’s ultimate goal has always been to develop and produce fire protection solutions according to the client’s specifications.Driven by our continuous growth, for our manufacturing location in Bressana, Bottarone (PV), we are searching for a Quality Manager who will support the development of the business and the improvement of the quality standards.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and systems to ensure product consistency and complianceEnsure overall compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policiesCollaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actionsManage customer service quality, ensuring prompt response to complaints, implementing corrective actions, and improving overall customer satisfactionOversee supplier quality by working closely with vendors to ensure compliance with specifications and continuous improvementConduct root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions for non-conformancesDefine and track quality metrics related to the cost of non-quality and customer satisfaction to drive continuous improvement initiativesLead continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, to enhance quality and efficiencyTrain plant personnel on quality procedures, fostering a culture of quality and complianceQualificationsDegree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; relevant experience in a similar role may be considered in place of formal educationMinimum 5 years of experience in a quality management role within manufacturing environmentProven hands-on experience with ISO, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologiesQHSE knowledge is beneficialProficiency in business English and ItalianProficient in MS Office tool set, with advanced knowledge of ExcelYou are enthusiastic and self-motivatedYou are capable of independently pursuing assigned objectives with a good level of autonomy, while effectively involving and coordinating with colleagues and managersYou are hands-on, result- and customer-oriented and have a strong sense of commitment and urgencyYou are well-organized, able to prioritize and get things doneYou have analytical skills and have a fact-based approachYou are able to communicate, interact and adapt to all levels in the organization (having the big picture in mind while still able to work on details)You have excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skillsYou have effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaborationYou are a process-oriented person; you like challenging the status quo and strive for continuous improvementJob ConditionsThe role requires occasional spot travelling throughout Europe for short missionsContract type - CNLL (Collective National Contract for mechanical compartment employees) reporting to the plant managing directorOffice-based in Bressana, Bottarone (PV)Our offerStable company: for over three decades, our company has stood the test of time, weathering economic shifts, technological revolutions, and industry changes.
