Castel San Pietro, ItalyIn Bologna, for a leading company in the hydraulic sector, we are seeking anProduction Scheduling and Planning OfficerThe selected candidate will report to the Production Planning Manager at the client’s plant and will be responsible for optimizing production performance by scheduling work across assembly, rework, and machine centers, ensuring timely delivery and achieving predefined KPIs.Main responsibilities:Planning for individual machine centersDeveloping MRP and Kanban analysisMonitoring progress of work plansVerifying and evaluating requests and entering new ordersScheduling requests from Special DepartmentsPlanning tests within delivery timelines for new productsData analysis and reporting on machine loadsCollaborating with Production, Planning, and Methods ManagersParticipating in regular production meetingsQualifications:Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fieldsPrevious experience in production planning within the metalworking sector (minimum 2 years)Good mechanical knowledge (reading mechanical drawings, understanding processes, managing machine centers)Basic knowledge of EnglishPreferred familiarity with SAP and planning software (e.g., NICIM)Excellent skills in Excel and general IT toolsAnalytical skills and problem-solving abilitiesAccuracy and result-oriented approachResidence within 30 minutes by car from the plantEmployment details:Direct hiring by the company, CCNL M.L.
