Junior Process Engineer - Hydra Project (H2 DRP Plant)
RINA is recruiting a Junior Process Engineer to join its office in Rome within the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Division.
Mission
Support commissioning and daily operations of the Direct Reduction Plant (DRP), part of a green steel process based on hydrogen (H₂). Develop and update standard operating procedures and contribute to OPEX-related KPIs and continuous improvement.
Key Accountabilities

Assist during commissioning and ramp-up phases.
Support day-to-day process engineering activities on the DRP plant.
Help define, review, and maintain operating procedures and technical documentation.
Contribute to process optimization initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing operational costs.
Analyze process data and performance indicators to support improvements.
Collaborate with teams including R&D, Operations, HSE, and Maintenance in a multidisciplinary environment.

Education
Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
Qualifications

0-2 years of experience, preferably in industrial or plant engineering (experience with plant contractors is a plus).
Interest in green technologies and hydrogen-based processes.
