Purpose of the position: As Offshore Structural Engineer you will be part of the Asset Based Services business line within OFFSHORE STRUCTURAL & ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN. You will support the team in interfacing with other Project Specialists and Designers, and coordinate and review technical activities performed inside or outside Saipem.
Responsibilities

Review Client technical documentation and requirements
Contribute to writing the Project Structural Design Brief (roadmap of all structural design and analyses work on the project)
Contribute to defining structural design premises
Design structural systems and components, aiming for sound engineering and design optimization in terms of costs, fabrication simplicity, constructability and safety
Write design reports and calculation notes

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: Master’s Degree or bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Languages: English B2
Experience: 0-2 years of experience as a Structural Engineer
Travel: Some travelling within worldwide locations is expected
