NIER Ingegneria is expanding the technical team within our System Engineering department and is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer who is smart, flexible, and engaged.
Provide support in Technical Project Management, including managing complex technical work packages, monitoring, and controlling technical activities;
Assist in Requirement Management, Verification, and Interface Management, especially for safety-related components;
Support the review of plans and procedures for manufacturing systems, structures, and components of basic nuclear installations, ensuring compliance with applicable construction codes.

YOU ARE PERFECT FOR US IF YOU HAVE:
A Master’s Degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering;
At least 2 years of professional experience in the design and/or analysis of mechanical components and requirement management and verification;
Good knowledge of the MS Office suite.
ADDITIONAL PREFERABLE QUALITIES:
Experience in nuclear fusion projects (preferably ITER), either professionally or academically;
Experience in writing technical or scientific documentation and reports;
Willingness to undertake international travel.
