Headquartered in Turin, Italy, the company operates on intangible aspects through a global network of licensees who produce and distribute its products, and offers various services to its network, such as research, development, global marketing, and information technology.More atWho We're Looking ForBasicNet Group is looking for a junior resource to join its Intellectual Property team and support the management of the Group’s IP assets, including trademarks, designs, patents, and domain names.Key ResponsabilitiesTrademark portfolio management, including filings, clearance searches, documentation, prosecution (e.g. refusals, oppositions), and renewals.Administrative support for registered designs and domain names.Patent-related support, in coordination with external consultants.Trademark monitoring and enforcement, including cease and desist letters, oppositions, and cancellation actions.Anti-counterfeiting case management in Italy and abroad, including customs surveillance and coordination with authorities and foreign advisors.Online enforcement on marketplaces, social media, websites, and fraudulent domains.Trademark record maintenance, including updates, ownership changes, and submission of proof of use.Litigation support in IP and unfair competition matters, both domestic and international.Cross-functional collaboration with design and marketing teams on IP matters related to collections, projects, and campaigns.Legal support on co-branding, marketing, and distribution agreements.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities requiredBachelor's or Master’s degree in Law, preferably with a specialization in Intellectual Property.1 to 3 years of previous experience in Intellectual Property is preferred.Excellent spoken and written English; knowledge of an additional foreign language is considered a plus.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Strong organizational and management skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.Teamwork-oriented attitude and good interpersonal skills.Depending on the candidate’s background and experience, the position may be structured either as an internship or a direct hire.BasicNet is committed to creating a supportive and motivating work environment, promoting collaboration and open dialogue, welcoming everyvoice and idea.
