Fratelli is seeking a Junior Food Technologist for the bakery plant in Castiglione delle Stiviere. The role reports hierarchically to the Quality & Technology Manager.Role Objectives:Ensure continuous compliance with finished product standards respecting Quality and Safety regulations.Manage and optimize processes to improve product quality and production line efficiency.Promote quality culture through staff engagement and training activities within the plant.Responsibilities:Identify process improvement areas to enhance product quality and develop technological standards in collaboration with Product Development / Industrialization.Implement diagnostic procedures for common consumer-reported technological issues.Analyze product blocking notes for quality issues related to technology, verify processes to identify root causes, and minimize product blocks through cross-functional teams.Disseminate technological process knowledge via staff training, sharing blocking notes, tastings, anomalies, and non-conformities.Detect deviations or anomalies in ongoing production (MMPP), perform root cause analysis, and collaborate to restore standards.Supervise and maintain technological sheets.Conduct periodic process checks using appropriate instrumentation (data logger, data trace, anemometer, etc.).Manage and test molds and dies.Perform operational checks on process parameters.Support R&D, Industrialization, and Continuous Improvement in technological trials.Coordinate line restart after maintenance stops in collaboration with technical area.Assess line capabilities.Participate in new product design and improvement phases, following industrialization steps and gradually managing the process.Qualifications:Degree in Food Science and Technology, Food Engineering, or Chemistry.At least 2 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in production plants or R&D areas.Preferred training in lean methodologies / Six Sigma.Strong teamwork skills.Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Result-oriented mindset.Project management skills.Fluent in Italian and English.
