Role Overview
Saipem Asset Based Services BO is looking for a Junior Business Analyst for its performance analysis function within the team mainly based at the Milano head office. The role focuses on business analysis to improve operational efficiency and increase profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure that KPIs, reports, and tools are developed, made available, and kept duly updated for all projects of the business organization and all offshore yards.
Support the achievement of optimal implementation to monitor and improve project costs, productivity, and yard costs and efficiency.
Support projects and bid teams by providing updated reports, rules, and methodologies throughout the bid and execution phases.
Main Tasks
Support business managerial decisions by developing standard performance analysis and KPI (for yard cost & trends, idleness management, project performance vs. estimated cost) and ad‑hoc reports required by management.
Support fabrication estimation teams by monitoring yard cost and proposing rates to be used in the estimation phase.
Support the digitalization program by developing standard codes (for the offshore division) called EBE (estimation breakdown element) to be used during the estimation and execution phases.
Promote the digitalization of owned processes for integration within the company Digital program.
Deploy, maintain, and improve the Work Model/System worldwide.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management Engineering.
Experience: Less than 3 years.
Languages: English.
Technical Knowledge: Strong inclination to understand industrial work processes, data analysis, and management; initiative and creativity to identify optimal solutions; teamwork, commitment to results, continuous improvement; recommend new systems, procedures, or organizational changes; mindset; intercultural attitude; availability for short‑stay assignments abroad worldwide.
Analyze financial and other data, including revenue, expenditure, and employment reports.
Interview personnel and conduct onsite observations to determine necessary methods, equipment, and personnel; confer with managers to ensure changes are effective.
