Nature and Scope of PositionThe HR department operates across Tuscany - Florence, Pistoia and Arezzo Municipality. Many of the employees are based in the field (Factories) and communication is key to maintaining a healthy working relationship. The department is currently structured as follows: HR Director Supply Chain (reports to the SVP SC), 1 HR Director Supply Chain Factories, 1 HR Advisor (working across both factories) and 1 SC HR Admin (based in Sicla) - these last 2 roles are reporting to the HR Director Supply Chain Factories; 1 HR Advisor based in the JCF Office and managing also JCS- Switzerland.Qualification/EducationGraduate calibreEnglish speaking mandatoryExperience RequiredHR experience within a Supply Chain and Manufacture environment/ experience on redundancies/downsizing is preferableSome payroll experience would be an advantageInvolvement in the appraisal process and pay reviewsDemonstrable experience of producing ad-hoc reportsRecruitment experienceEmployee relations experience, including assisting on disciplinary and grievance issuesParticular skills/knowledge requiredHighly competent user of MS Office packages, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointStrong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritiseExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAble to incorporate regular mundane tasks into day to day workloadStrong communication and interpersonal skills, oral and writtenAn understanding of Italian and Switzerland HR employment law and best practiceStrong commercial awarenessConfident team playerAbility to work in a fast paced environment, being flexible in approach to meet the requirements of the businessCharacteristics requiredDiscretion and confidentialityDemonstrable ability to use initiative and be proactiveTeam player with the ability to work on own initiative when requiredConfident and assertive, with the capability and will to develop selfStrong communication skills and pleasant and accommodating dispositionHighly organised with an ability to multi taskAble to work under pressure and meet the needs of a demanding and ever changing/growing businessInnovative and proactive, with a "can do" and flexible approachStrong numerical skillsCommitted with a passion for the role they play in their capacityThe Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
