From iconic ceviches to tantalizing anticuchos, each bite provides a sensory journey that will leave you craving more.The restaurant is seeking passionate, enthusiastic, dynamic, and proactive aspiring chefs worldwide to bring Peruvian flavors to life while experiencing a unique professional and cultural journey in the United States.ResponsibilitiesPrepare all food items as directed, maintaining sanitation and timeliness.Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards set by the restaurant.Restock items as needed during shifts.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.Use and maintain all station equipment properly.Assist with kitchen sanitation and organization.Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Manager.Prepare various foods including meat, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and cold items.Properly store and date all food preparation items.Use food prep tools following manufacturer instructions.Follow closing protocols for the kitchen.Estimated Monthly BudgetProjected income: $2,240 (Hourly wage: $14)Housing and transportation costs: $900 (housing options available for $700)Meals provided during working hoursJ1 Visa ProgramThis traineeship is part of a J1 visa program designed for young professionals or recent graduates to advance their careers, gain work experience, and enjoy cultural exchange.The total cost for the J1 visa process and application fees is $1,870, including a mandatory health insurance fee of $650, with the last payment of $1,450 due upon visa approval.Note: The first month's housing must be paid in advance.
