For an international Food Ingredients Distributor, acting in Europe and Africa we are looking for aTechnical Sales Manager Food IngredientsYou will sell valued added Food Ingredients to the Food and Beverage Industry in Italy. The position will be home office-based. You will be responsible for the business development of a selection of food ingredients in different branches of the food industry.TasksAnalysis of the market and the product range of our suppliers to find new potentialsResponsible for making market strategy, purchasing, and selling of assigned Product-groups in ItalyBuilding a close relationship with our suppliers and customersVisits of customers, analysis of their needs, creation of value propositionsParticipation in production trials at the customer / implementation of small-scale trials in the application kitchenProject management in close cooperation with the responsible Customer Service ManagerAlignment of the sales strategy for the product groups of the suppliers with the help of the Category Managers and the Country ManagerDiscover and understand customer’s needs and develop tailor-made solutionsConduct lab, small-scale or industrial trials with customersFollow up offers, payments, etc.Develop and execute Sales Budget and forecastsRequirementsDegree in Food Technology Must haveAbility to solve technological problems and passion for food product developmentExceptionally good communication, negotiation and analytical skillsHigh willingness to travelVery organized, reliable, positive thinkingVery good knowledge of Italian and English (fluent in spoken and written) Must haveYou have a valid driving license Must haveWorking in an international team with lean structuresClose cooperation with market-leading, innovative suppliers with excellent productsRegular product and application training in our LABAn attractive remuneration package that corresponds to your experience and qualifications, in addition to a performance-related commissionOngoing training on Sales and Project management, and on technological know-howAttractive compensation package : Salary to match performance, company car, business toolsJ-18808-Ljbffr
