IT Project Manager for NATO
Would you like to join the leading international intergovernmental organization? The Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation (CMRE) is an established, world-class scientific research and experimentation facility that organizes and conducts scientific research and technology development centred on the maritime domain.
It delivers innovative and field-tested science and technology (S&T) solutions to address defence and security needs of the Alliance.
Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and oversee software development activities, managing timelines, budgets, resources, and dependencies to ensure on-time delivery.
Track progress, identify and mitigate risks and blockers, and facilitate communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

A minimum requirement of a bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in an information systems, physics or electronics related scientific or engineering discipline, or other relevant scientific discipline, and 2 years post-related experience.
A recognised formal Project Management qualification, such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in managing software development or IT projects with proven track record of successful delivery in complex technical environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills with ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project and operational risks while translating complex requirements into actionable plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across technical and non-technical audiences.
Professional experience with project management tools, collaboration platforms, and documentation systems (e.g. Azure DevOps, JIRA, etc.).
Understanding of IT service delivery, operational workflows, and procurement processes.
Good level of spoken and written English.
