GFT Italia is seeking a Project Manager for projects related to financial services.We are looking for a professional who will contribute to improving service effectiveness and efficiency, designing new processes and solutions by adopting Best Practices, and guiding colleagues toward achieving goals, with experience managing core projects in banking and/or insurance sectors.ResponsibilitiesPlan time management to ensure delivery on budget, schedule, and quality by setting and monitoring project plans.Control costs, managing suppliers and all financial aspects of the project.Analyze, monitor, and manage project risks.Govern project documentation.Manage meetings with client management for progress updates.Collaborate internally with Client Managers to support pre-sales activities, tender preparations, and client presentations.Evaluate impacts and estimate effort (time and costs) for new projects.Coordinate delivery team activities, ensuring consistency and coherence of solutions both functionally and technically, including analysis, design, and implementation of complex applications.Support in designing and defining technological choices considering the application context.Required Skills8-10 years of experience in consultancy firms.Project experience in roles of PMO/PM in financial contexts.Ability to manage large IT projects.Manage project budgets and planning, prioritize initiatives with management, and handle change requests.Report project progress to management and stakeholders.Prepare project documentation and analyses in coordination with other business functions.Maintain project documentation (Business Requirements, Kick-off, SAL, Work Plans).Fluent in English, both spoken and written.Strong familiarity with remote work, virtual team management, and team building in non-face-to-face settings.Willingness to travel within Italy.Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall or Agile).Excellent organizational skills and result-oriented attitude.Teamwork orientation in an international environment.PM certifications (PMI, Prince2) are appreciated.Degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Management) or Economics.If you identify with this profile, apply now and showcase your talent!Who are we?GFT Technologies SE, founded in 1987, is now represented by a global team of about 12,000 employees across Europe, North and South America, and Asia.We are committed to leading digital transformation in the financial services sector, providing consulting to major financial institutions worldwide, and developing tailored IT solutions—from banking applications and trading systems to full platform implementation, support, and core banking system modernization.
