Position DescriptionThe IT Network Analyst is responsible for the operational and strategic management of the local IT infrastructure, including maintenance of PCs and servers, user support, and resolution of technical issues. In addition to technical duties, the Network Analyst provides guidance and mentoring to junior IT staff, ensures alignment with global IT standards, and acts as a point of escalation for complex issues. The role requires collaboration with international teams and leadership in local IT initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, servers, and peripherals.Provide first and second-level technical support to users.Install, configure, and update client/server operating systems.Resolve incidents and handle service requests following IT best practices.Monitoring the assigned ServiceNOW queues for incidents and requestsDocument the local IT environment: hardware, cabling, network, servers, and applications.Monitor and maintain the local network infrastructure (LAN, Wi-Fi, cabling).Coordinate project initiation, manage & execute active projects ensuring plans are in place and regular updates communicated.Apply basic cybersecurity principles (e.g., updates, antivirus, access management).Support data backup and recovery procedures.EducationTechnical diploma or degree in IT-related fields (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems).ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of experience in similar IT roles.Technical SkillsGood knowledge of Windows operating systems (client and server).Good knowledge of TCP/IP networks, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.Practical experience with remote management and ticketing tools.Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles.Experience with virtualized environments.Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.Soft SkillsProblem-solving attitude.Ability to work both independently and in a team.Good communication skills and internal customer orientation.Ability to interface with senior stakeholders and influence decisions.Leadership and team coordination skills.Precision and attention to detail.Good written and verbal communication skills of both Italian and English.Desirable (Optional but appreciated)Technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft).Basic knowledge of Linux systems.Remote Working & TravelThis position is suitable for limited remote work and requires occasional travel to local and international company offices.Modine is an equal opportunity employer.
