About the Role
A forward-thinking company is currently seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to join their internal technical support team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys troubleshooting, and wants to play a key part in ensuring employees have a smooth digital working experience.
Key Responsibilities

Technical Support — Handle incoming IT service requests and support tickets, providing timely assistance for software, hardware, and connectivity issues. Ensure incidents are documented, tracked, and resolved in alignment with internal service standards.
Device Setup & Maintenance — Prepare laptops, desktops, and related equipment for new team members. Ensure proper configuration, installation of necessary programs, and secure connection to company systems.
Peripheral Equipment Management — Install and configure printers, scanners, and other peripherals, troubleshooting any connectivity or functionality issues that arise.
Collaborative Troubleshooting — Work closely with other IT personnel and departments to identify recurring problems and contribute to long-term solutions.

Candidate Profile

Legal Eligibility — Must be registered under Law 68/99 (protected categories) and eligible for protected employment placement.
Education — High school diploma or equivalent, preferably with a focus in IT, electronics, or another technical field.
Experience — Previous experience in an IT support role is desirable but not mandatory. Entry-level candidates with relevant technical skills will also be considered.
Soft Skills — Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail; natural problem-solver with a proactive mindset; team player with excellent interpersonal communication; willingness to learn and grow in a structured environment.
