GOSP - Generali Operations Service Platform, a joint venture between Generali and Accenture, provides IT and Procurement services to Generali Group companies. Our purpose is to accelerate the Group's innovation and digitization strategy through Cloud and shared platforms. Based in Italy, it has 5 branches across Europe and employs about 1,000 people. The candidate will be part of the Program NEXT team. The IT Application Lead is responsible for supporting new implementations and ongoing maintenance of application assets, interacting with both technical and functional teams to ensure timely delivery, acting as a key contributor for go-live and support, and assisting in strategic planning for initiatives and global operations. The role involves understanding business processes, translating them into technical requirements, assessing solutions, and collaborating on application changes. Main Tasks: Monitor and ensure the achievement of core solution milestones, manage resources and budgets, coordinate with local stakeholders, escalate key decisions and risks to governance bodies. Ensure compliance with internal policies. Maintain, monitor, and support all systems and applications. Serve as IT solution consultant to business stakeholders, mapping relevant technologies and services to support business strategies. Plan and execute solution implementation projects aligned with business strategy and IT standards. Oversee vendor governance of Cloud Infrastructure activities. Hard Skills: Knowledge of IFRS principles (IFRS17 and IFRS9) and background in Actuarial Non-Life. Understanding of Software Lifecycle, Lean Project Management, Agile, Waterfall, and ITIL methodologies. Proficiency in SQL, programming languages, and relational databases. Professional level of English; knowledge of Italian, German, or French is an advantage. Knowledge of Cloud services, management, and systems. Soft Skills: Analytical, synthetic, and presentation skills. Proven teamwork and leadership abilities. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders independently. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Goal-oriented, proactive, and autonomous.
