Our team, currently composed of around 15 professionals, is responsible for advising Italian entrepreneurs and financial sponsors in originating and executing M&A transactions, with an exclusive focus on mid-market.The Team has closed 40 sell side transactions over the last 5 years, serving private entrepreneur clients and financial sponsors in a variety of deals, leveraging the phenomenal international network of UBS and the unique skills developed in the dialogue with families and private equity investors.Your expertiseYou ideally have 1/2 years of experience in M&A advisory with direct exposure to both origination and execution workstreamsDeep understanding of, and proactive contribution in, the various phases of an M&A process ranging from (i) preparation of marketing material (eg Teasers, Information Memorandum, Business Plans etc.) to (ii) due diligence activities (Q&As, expert sessions, management presentations etc.) until (iii) negotiation of legal documents (SPA, SHA etc.), signing and closingSolid financial analysis skills with thorough knowledge of Italian accounting and corporate valuation methodologies, (eg trading and transaction multiples, Discounted Cash Flow, LBO model etc.)Hands-on experience in producing effective, clear and persuasive presentation material to be shared with clients and counterpartiesAdvanced reasoning, multitasking and problem solving skillsProven ability to successfully coordinate, motivate and train junior resourcesTeam spirit, team working, team winning approachItalian native, Fluency in English to duly interact with foreign investors and counterpartiesAbout Us UBS is the world’s largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
