Your opportunity
Information Technology Services is responsible for all computing hardware, operations, network infrastructure, and systems to support and enhance the School's core mission. Rotman students, faculty, and staff use up-to-date technologies to directly enhance learning, teaching, and research. IT Services is divided into four functional groups: Customer Support, Network Infrastructure, Systems Development, and Multimedia. All groups work together to deliver efficient, adaptable, and reliable IT services.
As the Intermediate Salesforce and Systems Administrator, you will play a critical role in the ongoing support and enhancement of our Salesforce CRM. Drawing upon your robust technical knowledge, significant experience with the Salesforce platform and Marketing Cloud, along with the ability to translate business requirements which drive process changes and workflow changes within the environment, you will collaborate with stakeholders to help drive our strategic initiatives forward.
Your responsibilities will include
Analyzing, recommending, and designing highly complex software architecture to support current and future applications
Reconciling business requirements with information architecture needs for highly complex system integration
Checking that security authorization meets University guidelines and project requirements
Creating user documentation and training plans for new processes, workflows and enhancements deployed within CRM or Marketing Cloud platforms
Analyzing programming solutions to ensure compliance with best practices and industry standards
Leading and planning IT projects, including technical application implementation plans
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; or acceptable combination of equivalent education and experience
Minimum five (5) years recent and related experience, including three (3) years as a Salesforce Administrator
Minimum two (2) year experience as a Marketing Cloud Administrator
Demonstrated experience with IT project implementation, including developing project schedules
Demonstrated experience designing, testing, and modifying processes and workflows within Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud, and ensuring they adhere to industry standards, and are testable
Experience developing, optimizing and supporting database servers, including but not limited to, MS SQL, MySQL
Experience coding highly complex queries for MS SQL
Experience developing technical application implementation plans
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting database and web servers
Extensive experience as a Network and Systems Administrator, managing and troubleshooting complex network architectures along with physical and Virtual server using VMware
Excellent communication skills (oral and written), including strong presentation and graphical communication skills
Proven ability to work well with a wide range of stakeholders
Proven ability to create, communicate, and implement technical visions
Proven ability to find solutions to difficult and complex problems and to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously
Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Ability and inclination to keep technical skills up-to-date and relevant
Ability to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of personal data
Highly proficient with managing and creating user access roles within the Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud environments
Assets (Nonessential)
Understanding of AURA and APEX programming languages
Understanding of LWC and how they are used and deployed within a Salesforce environment
