Italy is the Group’s Competence center for the design, production and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products.ObjectiveUndertaking all necessary site integration, commissioning, hand-over and start-up activities when a product or system has to be implementedVerifying that assigned works are in accordance with Customer requirements and is consistent with the latest installation scheduleProviding training to the customer staffProviding feedback from site and customerPerforming commissioning tasks on AMS NAVAIDS (Navigational Aids) and NRS (Non-radar-surveillance) catalogue productsRecording the results of test activities in measurements sheets and preparing suitable reportsReviewing technical documentation and drawingsIdentifying and solving problems in a timely and cost-effective mannerPerforming Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) including documentation with customer representativeEnsuring that the delivered system has passed all test procedures successfullyProviding ground support during commissioning and routine flight checksProviding factory and on-the job training sessions for customers maintenance and operator staffPerforming failure analysis and related on-site repair activities on customer productsSupporting and collaborating with Project Engineering (PE) by finalizing the As Built Documentation and taking the technical hand over of projectsProviding technical internal feedback, all back up file and info from site, reports and lessons learnedSupporting the technical documentations review/updateEnsuring the quality, work safety and suitability of all work performedQualifications and SkillsRequired qualification: High school or BA Degree in Telecommunications engineeringSeveral years of experience in the deployment of industrial communication systemsGood knowledge of RF-/Analog-/ Digital- and IT-TechnologiesBasic knowledge in electrical, mechanical engineering and telecommunicationSafe handling of PC tools such as Excel, Word, etcBasic knowledge of Networking and Ethernet devices (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.)English language – fluent in writing and speechPreferable: Good knowledge of ATM (Air Traffic Management) products and proceduresExperience in field service areaAdditional language: ability to speak additional languages such as French or German is a benefitOrganizational talent and development of solutions for occurring difficulties and changes in plansProven competence in Cooperation and CommunicationWillingness to take over responsibilitiesWillingness to travel abroad (70%) when required even in critical countries
