This position is part of the EMEA-based commercial team reporting to the Director of Sales, EMEA & APAC and will be fully remote.ResponsibilitiesUncover new business both in existing and new accounts by identifying potential opportunities, reaching out to potential clients, identifying their needs and building relationships based on quality and trust.Support inbound client questions via the website by introducing clients to Aldevron’s capabilities and qualifying opportunities prior to introducing clients to the local business development manager and technical sales specialist.Partner with business development, marketing and technical sales to grow regional business and achieve/exceed your quota.QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or equivalent.1 year of experience in a client-facing role such as sales, customer service, or technical support.1 year of experience at the lab bench with hands-on experience using DNA, RNA, or proteins.Preferred QualificationsUsing a CRM such as Hubspot or Salesforce.An understanding of the cell and gene therapy market landscape.Previous experience of identifying new business opportunities.This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement.
