Overview
We are looking for a Body Control Electronics Systems Component Owner to join our Body & Vehicle Controls team. The candidate will be responsible for the design and development of Body Electronics Components (such as Body Computers, clima and airbag control units), supporting the full lifecycle from concept to release across various vehicle platforms.
Responsibilities

Oversees all activities related to component design, development and release (full life‑cycle)
Defines hardware requirements, ensuring it meets design specifications (electrical interfaces, connectors, housing…), and optimizing its performance and integration.
Collaborates with vehicle integration department to define installation and to ensure manufacturability and assistibility
Ensures that all allocated functions are satisfied and addressed during development, granting traceability and coverage, collaborating with other teams to meet functional and non‑functional requirements
Defines component EOL programming framework and service procedures
Supports supplier sourcing by defining component Product Card and performing the evaluation of the supplier maturity and design.
Defines component development plan with sample maturities gates, contents availability roll out, validation loops (DV/PV phases), homologation (e.g. ECE R10) and industrialization (PPAP)
Review and approve supplier HW Components validation plans, monitoring progress and assessing deviations; collaborates with testing departments to analyze and address component issues
Supports creation of the Component road‑map in line with overall EE component evolution

Mandatory Qualifications

Master degree in Control or Electronics Engineering (or similar)
Min 2‑3 years of strong experience in product development (V‑cycle) in automotive industry, specifically in understanding HW qualification, development and documentation processes
Familiarity with automotive standards and protocols (e.g. CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
Understanding of basic Cybersecurity and Functional Safety requirements
Experience in MBSE tools usage (Polarion, Rhapsody)
Fluent in English and experienced in multicultural teams
Strong relational and negotiation skills, in a wide‑open relationship building with various technical departments
Curiosity and open mind in embracing new processes and methodologies
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑evolving environment.
