Industrial Maintenance Technician – Central RegionLocation: 300 Dewey Street, Argos, Indiana 46501Work Shift: 8hr-1st Shift (United States of America)Altium Packaging has opportunities for Industrial Maintenance Technicians across all of our plants, with relocation bonuses for Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.As a fully competent Industrial Maintenance Technician, the incumbent will perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment and facilities. They are responsible for following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and other related equipment.Perform mold, neck tooling changes, pin and other equipment changes.Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.Inspect, rebuild and replace valves and pumps.Perform preventive maintenance on all related equipment.Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.Trouble-shoot, locate root causes and repair blow mold, baggers and support equipment.May operate blow mold or injection machines.Communicate with other departments on a frequent basis.Duties may differ by plant based on equipment and plant design.Receives instructions on specific job tasks from Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician or Supervisor.Other duties as assigned by management.Assistance is furnished on unusual problems and work is reviewed for application of sound professional judgment.Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.QualificationsThe requirements listed below are minimum requirements for the job. The noise level is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate hot or cold.
