Industrial IoT Engineering Lead

As our next Industrial IoT Engineering Lead, you will work as Project Manager in our Manufacturing plant in Crespellano, delivering the digital strategy for Global Manufacturing and Engineering by spearheading projects within the Industrial IoT equipment portfolio. This includes driving the development, delivery, evolution, and adoption of new, innovative manufacturing equipment capabilities and features. The aim is to accelerate prototyping activities, launch new products, and develop advanced manufacturing technology in collaboration with Manufacturing, IT, IS Quality, and other internal and external partners.
Your Responsibilities
Execute Industrial IoT (IIoT) program/project to implement new digital solutions and digitize manufacturing equipment in the context of New Product Launches (NPL), New Technology Introduction (NTI), and Capacity Expansion, in line with the vision of Manufacturing of the future.
Drive the development, delivery, evolution, and adoption of new innovative native manufacturing equipment capabilities/features.
Support the definition and sizing of the digital scope for new strategic initiatives in the context of NPL, NTI and capacity expansion.
Support the technology bet and roadmap for IIoT Equipment Engineering with the current Ecosystem and new partner with the scope of predicting new trend, scouting and assessing new technology, and identify opportunities to apply new technology to generate business value.
Lead a cross‑functional team in local manufacturing, IT Ops, IS QA, IT TPE, etc. in order to deliver against the commitment.
Support the definition and evolution of the Digital Equipment requirements and digital architecture of equipment in collaboration with other functions like IT Ops, IT TPE, IS QA, etc. for specific technology.
Who We’re Looking For
1‑3 years of experience of which minimum 1 year in Digital for Engineering / Manufacturing domain in an OPS / IT Project Management department within a multinational mid‑large sized company.
Master’s degree, Engineering or Computer or Data Science / Information Technology / Management Engineering or equivalent experience.
Certified in Project and Program Management or equivalent working experience.
Certified in Scaled Agile Methodology or equivalent working experience.
With such a critical, cross‑functional role, your interpersonal skills will be crucial: being customer oriented, embracing changes and ambiguity, collaborating with wide range of stakeholders from different functions and target group‑oriented communication, explaining complex technical topics in a simplified way.
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Italian is essential.
