Creating Peace of Mind by Pioneering Safety and SecurityThe Industrial Engineer Specialist is responsible for analyzing internal manufacturing processes, identifying wastes and inefficiencies, driving improvement actions, increasing productivity, maintaining quality standards, and reducing costs. The role involves close collaboration with Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Quality departments, supporting new projects and technological upgrades to meet product specifications and customer needs.We are seeking a junior engineer with an excellent academic background (mechanical or electronic) and no more than 3-4 years of experience, preferably in manufacturing companies.Duties and Responsibilities:Implement and maintain master data, routing, BOMsImplement and maintain standard operations across all production processes and assembly linesParticipate in projects to increase plant productivity and develop new processesConduct value stream analysis through kaizen events and lean projects to improve on-time delivery, 5S, safety compliance, and cost adherenceMaintain production standards and improve operational KPIs (cycle times, productivity, space utilization, shop floor and line design)Work on the implementation and usage of tools and processes such as:Standard Specification for Purchased Equipment and toolsStandard Work for cost, quality, and performance optimizationPlant Layout and Process ChangeOEE and utilizationTPM, 5S, Basic Problem Solving / 8D analysisProcess documentation for specifications and control plansQualifications:Engineering degree in Mechanical or related fieldsFluent in English (spoken and written)Maximum 4 years of experience, preferably in manufacturingStrong execution skills to meet targets within time and budgetGood interpersonal and communication skillsProject management abilitiesKnowledge of lean methodologies (preferred)Technical knowledge in redesigning production and assembly processes (preferred)Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCADCritical thinking and problem-solving attitudeWe Celebrate Who We Are!Allegion is committed to diversity and inclusion, embracing differences among colleagues and in our relationships with customers, suppliers, and communities.
