We are looking for an Indirect Global Commodity Buyer within the Corporate Purchasing Department.The role involves managing the supplier panel for the following Indirect Global Commodities:General ServicesFacility Management ServicesConsultancy ServicesOther Plant Equipment and DevicesResponsibilitiesManage the above-mentioned commodities, including RFQ, negotiation, business bundling, project award, orders, contracts, and supplier database managementDefine global commodity strategy and align with local buyers in the regionsProactively generate cost reduction ideas and negotiate prices with assigned suppliersConduct cost analysis and benchmarking for main commoditiesServe as the main point of contact for commercial, strategic communication, and escalation with suppliersMain RequirementsPrevious experience in Indirect Materials / Services (2-4 years)Fluent in English and Italian; knowledge of additional foreign languages is a plusSkillsResults-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindsetStrong leadership qualities and passion for challengesProblem-solving and analytical skillsGood knowledge of technical aspects and/or quality (preferable)Team player and proactive attitudeInterest in new cultures and willingness to travel internationallyWork LocationCodogno (LO), with the possibility of working remotely up to eight days per month
