Position – Import/Export Specialist
What you will do

Document and issue international shipment documentation (road, sea, air) such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin, Letter of Credit.
Prepare and submit export customs declarations, verifying origin, value, and customs codes; manage both import and export customs procedures.
Arrange transportation by road (LCL and FTL) in Italy and Europe, by air and sea (LCL and full containers), evaluating best rates and services.
Monitor the performance of the distribution process and conduct KPI monitoring.
Prepare reporting, analysis, and KPI monitoring activities.
Collaborate on process improvement projects, supporting layout redesign, tender analysis, and logistics cost control.

Who you are

Preferred: experience with international trade consultants/customs brokers (freight forwarder, customs broker agency) in multinational companies; knowledge of customs regulations, tax (export, import, VAT), transport regulations, and international agreements.
Fluent in English (written and verbal); a second language is a plus.
Project management experience preferred.
Team‑player with strong relationship‑building skills; able to manage service providers and internal/external customers.
Willing to travel for business.
