ICQA Area Manager
Be part of our fulfillment center Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) team to deliver reliable inventory management and quality assurance across Amazon's fast‑growing operations network.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise hourly associates, including team leads and data analysts, assigned to inventory control, quality assurance, and problem‑solve operations.
Support safety programs and compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
Coordinate inventory control, quality assurance, and problem‑solve operations in accordance with network strategies and SOX compliance.
Conduct shift planning and forecasting; assign and direct work, and oversee projects to streamline processes and increase quality.
Review KPIs daily, weekly, and monthly; perform quality analysis on behaviors/processes impacting inventory integrity and customer experience.
Drive continuous improvement of key fulfillment center process paths and exceptions handling in partnership with operations management.
Interview and train fulfillment center managers and associates, developing talent and hiring the next generation of managers.

A Day in the Life
Work shifts at a fulfillment center, overseeing inventory control, QA, and problem‑solve operations. Begin with a team huddle to review performance, set goals, and address issues. Throughout the shift, analyze inventory discrepancies, resolve receiving issues, coach staff, and use data to identify improvement opportunities. Collaborate with partners in process engineering, loss prevention, and program management to keep operations running smoothly. Dedicate time to develop team members, provide feedback, and prepare handover briefs for the next shift.

Basic Qualifications

Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in operations management.
Relevant experience in data analysis and understanding data sets and tools.
Proficient in local language and English, both spoken and written.
Advanced MS Office user, especially Excel.
Previous experience leading teams.

Preferred Qualifications

A resilient, focused problem solver and self‑starter who can multi‑task and prioritize in a complex environment.
Strong commitment to employee development and a high level of dedication and motivation for team management.
Proven ability to influence peers or stakeholders at varying seniority levels within the Ops organization.
Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and techniques.
