Qualifications

Degree in Industrial, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
2-3 years of experience in a similar role
Experience in the manufacturing sector is required; experience in a food factory is a plus
Basic knowledge of current safety legislation (d.lgs 81/08)
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Italian and English

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with local legislation and Nestlé SHE standards and principles, integrating SHE into planning and operational reviews
Implement effective risk management procedures in accordance with RSPP guidelines
Monitor site safety for employees, contractors, and visitors, ensuring proper signage and risk management
Maintain high standards of health and hygiene, including emergency medical response
Ensure safe working practices are in place, focusing on high-frequency risks and high-hazard tasks
Provide high-quality HSE support, including exposure monitoring, health promotion, surveillance, and training
Participate in key meetings and reviews
Support LEAN initiatives
Drive continuous improvement in Safety, Health, and Environmental Sustainability by proposing targets and initiatives
Communicate effectively across organizational levels

Desired Skills

Experience as an assistant to RSPP is a plus
Experience working within a matrix organization, influencing and collaborating effectively
Understanding of human behavior, diversity, and team dynamics
Ability to multitask
