You will lead all health, safety, and environmental activities across construction sites, engineering interfaces, and head-office functions, ensuring compliance with European and Italian HSE legislation, international standards, and client requirements.ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation and implementation of project HSE plans (HSE Plans, CEMP, Waste Plans, CPP, etc.)Monitor HSE KPIs and submit monthly reports to senior leadershipSupport compliance with ISO standards (45001, 14001, 50001), international guidelines (IFC, EBRD, World Bank) and internal governanceProvide training and coaching to site teams and contractorsCoordinate with Project Management and Site HSE Managers to uphold contractual and regulatory HSE requirementsConduct site inspections and internal HSE audits, ensuring corrective actions are closedSupport tendering activities, providing HSE input on bids and client discussionsShare best practices, drive continuous improvement, and support incident investigationsRequirements5+ years' HSE management experience in large industrial, EPC, or energy projectsStrong knowledge of Italian and European HSE legislationNEBOSH / equivalent certifications are preferredExperience with ISO standards, ESIA documentation, and permittingStrong communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management abilitiesFluent in Italian and EnglishAbility to influence, challenge, and drive a strong safety culture
