Job DetailsLocation: EMEALine Manager’s Job Title: Director HR TransformationJob Purpose: Amcor Flexibles Packaging Solutions EMEA is undertaking a significant HR transformation to build a more agile, efficient, and people-focused organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive that change – shaping the way the business empowers its people, optimizes processes, and delivers a consistent, high-impact employee experience across the region.
ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, execution, and delivery of HR transformation initiatives.Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with HR and business stakeholders.Develop detailed project plans, manage budgets and timelines, and track progress against milestones.Oversee interdependent workstreams to ensure cohesive and timely delivery.Apply combinations of waterfall, Agile, and iterative methods to enable cross-network progress.Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies, tools, and governance practices.Establish and manage governance structures (e.g., Steering Committees, Design Authorities).Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate as needed.Maintain comprehensive documentation (RAID logs, trackers, dashboards) and provide regular updates to senior leadership.Partner with leadership to define transformation vision and success measures; engage regional HR teams and Shared Services to ensure alignment and adoption.Collaborate with change management and communications teams to deliver effective change plans, stakeholder communications, and training initiatives.Contribute to building a culture of operational excellence within HR.Support post-implementation reviews and capture lessons learned.
Qualifications / RequirementsMandatory – 5-10 years of experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects or programs.Proven ability to lead transformation initiatives across people, process, and technology domains.Proficiency with PM tools (MS Project, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Wrike).Excel-based RAID logs and PowerPoint governance presentations.Fluent in English with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across all levels.
Nice to HaveProfessional certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).Understanding of HR operating models, shared services, and HR technologies (Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).Background in management consulting or enterprise transformations in large, global organizations.
