Are you passionate about HR and ready to take on some real challenges in payroll and people administration? Danfoss, at our Reggio Emilia site, is looking for a Payroll Professional to join our HR Services EMEA team, taking part in the implementation of our new HR delivery model.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be part of a shared services team, primarily handling payroll and people administration in Italy, while also supporting other countries across the EMEA region.

What You’ll Be Doing
Process monthly payroll for assigned countries in coordination with vendors, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
Maintain payroll, tax, and employment records, ensuring GDPR compliance and correct salary payments.
Handle onboarding, internal mobility, terminations, addendums, and leave management, keeping personnel files up to date.
Ensure compliance with NCBA and CLA updates and support Local HR with industrial relations and audits.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external partners to resolve issues and ensure smooth processes.
Act as a point of contact for payroll and HR admin queries via ServiceNow, email, and phone.
Document processes and create knowledge articles to support self-service across the business.
Participate in global and regional projects, implement standards, and prepare reports for management and authorities.
What We're Looking For
Academic background in Human Resources, Business Administration, Work Psychology, or equivalent.
Previous experience in Payroll and People Administration within structured international companies or production environments.
Experience with HR management software such as Zucchetti or SAP.
Familiarity with other HR and ticketing tools such as Workday, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, and similar platforms.
Strong knowledge of Excel and MS Office tools.
Ability to manage data processing, ensure process accuracy, and suggest operational improvements.
Excellent command of English and Italian, both written and spoken; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
