The newly established department HR Operations is responsible for the day-to-day HR activities in close liaison with vendors, Line Managers, and the local HR Area Manager. As an HR Operations Specialist Turbocharger (M / F / d) based in Genova, you are responsible for ensuring that all activities related to the Employee Life Cycle are executed accurately, on time, and according to defined standards, delivering a state-of-the-art service for the entire company in all HR-related matters for Italy and, to some extent, other countries under the responsibility of the Area HR Manager, such as Greece and Malta. You can rely on the knowledge of our strong external payroll vendor. As a significant member of the global HR Operations team, you'll contribute to further optimizing the HR footprint in our newly created setup.ResponsibilitiesManage the entire Employee Life Cycle for a population of around 100 employees together with a local HR Manager in Italy, in close collaboration with the global HR Operations Team, including acting as an interface to external vendors, e.g., payroll.Support onboarding/offboarding events. Cover local administration such as references, confirmations, training documentation, work permits, and contract extensions.Support the execution of the annual HR processes. Monitor & maintain HR data quality, including Master and Meta Data.Ensure alignment with the overall HR Model across the business and collaborate with the global HR Operations team to meet standards and targets. Assist employees and managers in all HR Life Cycle related matters, leveraging digitization with Employee Self-Service / Manager Self-Service solutions, and ensure excellent HR services are provided to employees and customers.Be part of the journey to implement Workday as the HR core system and contribute to a smooth transition and implementation.Work with controlling to ensure transparency of HR cost base and HR-driven costs (learning, external Talent Acquisition search).Your backgroundExperience managing the entire Employee Life Cycle for a similar-sized population, preferably in a multinational environment.Support onboarding/offboarding events and local administration tasks.Support the execution of HR processes and maintain HR data quality.Ensure alignment with HR standards and collaborate with global teams.Experience with HR digitization solutions, preferably Workday.Ability to work with controlling to ensure transparency of HR costs.Knowledge of Employee Assistance Programs and global parental leave programs is a plus.
